ASUS Launches New Zenbook S 13 OLED & Vivobook 15 Laptops in India

ASUS India has recently unveiled its latest offerings, the Zenbook S 13 OLED and Vivobook 15, prioritizing portability, performance, and design. These laptops are tailored to meet the demands of both professionals and students, with a particular focus on sustainability in the Zenbook S 13 OLED and mobility in the Vivobook 15.

Zenbook S 13 OLED: Eco-Friendly Powerhouse

The 2024 ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 155U processor and a 13.3" 16:10 2.8K OLED display with 600-nits peak brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Running on Windows 11 Home, it features Intel Graphics, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X onboard RAM, and storage options extending up to 1 TB with PCIe 4.0 x 4 NVMe M.2 SSD. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.

The laptop features an FHD 3DNR IR camera and various ports, including Thunderbolt 4 USB-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, and a combo audio jack. The touchpad supports ASUS ErgoSense TouchPad technology. Audio enhancements include built-in speakers and a Dolby Atmos sound system.

It comes with a 63Wh lithium-polymer battery and a 65 W Type-C power adapter. Dimensions are 296.2 x 216.3 x 10.9 mm, with a weight of approximately 1 kg, making it suitable for professionals and enthusiasts seeking portability.

Vivobook 15: Designed for Mobility

The 2024 ASUS Vivobook 15 features an Intel Core 5 120U or Intel Core 3 100U processor and a 15.6-inch FHD display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. It utilizes Intel Graphics and runs on Windows 11 Home. Memory options include up to 8 GB 3200 MHz DDR4 onboard RAM, with an additional SO-DIMM slot supporting up to 16GB 3200 MHz DDR4.

Storage capabilities extend up to 1 TB with a PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, offering transfer speeds of up to 3500 MB/s. Connectivity features Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2. The laptop includes an HD webcam with physical shutter and 3DNR technology for enhanced privacy and imaging.

I/O ports consist of 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1 x USB 2.0 Type-A, 1 x full-sized HDMI 1.4, and 1 x 3.5 mm Audio combo jack. The touchpad supports Precision touchpad (PTP) technology, enabling up to four-finger smart gestures. Audio enhancements include SonicMaster and AI Noise Canceling Audio technologies.

Powering the Vivobook 15 is a 42 Wh lithium-polymer battery, accompanied by a 45W Type-C power adapter. The laptop's dimensions are 359.8 x 232.9 x 18.9 mm, with an approximate weight of 1.7 kg, making it suitable for various computing needs.

Shared Features and Availability

Both laptops prioritize user experience with features like ASUS Antimicrobial Guard Plus for virus and bacteria protection, AI noise cancellation audio, and various connectivity ports. They will be available in India starting March 13th, 2024. The Zenbook S 13 OLED starts at ₹1,29,990, while the Vivobook 15 starts at ₹49,990.
