Asus Launches VivoBook 4K with 15.6-Inch Display, Windows 10
OEMs are slowly updating their existing lineup of laptops to launch new models that offer support for Microsoft's latest operating system that powers laptops and desktop PC's - Windows 10.
Asus, has been frequently launching new laptops packed with the latest Windows OS. The technology giant based in Taiwan launched a number low range, mid level and high end latops since it released Windows 10 on July 29.

On Monday, it launched the Asus VivoBook 4K to broaden its high-end offerings. The Asus VivoBook 4K is named after its 4K/ UHD with 3840x2160 pixels and IPS display. The Vivobook 4K has a 16:9 aspect ratio. When it comes to the processor, the device is available in variants of fifth or sixth-generation Intel Core i7 processor. The base model features a dual-core Core i7-5500U. The device is also available in variants of 12GB of DDR3L SDRAM, and an Nvidia GeForce 940M with 2GB DDR3 VRAM GPU. When it comes to storage, the Vivobook 4K is available in variants of 500GB 5400rpm HDD, 500GB 7200rpm HDD, 1TB 5400RPM HDD, 1.5TB 5400rpm HDD, 2TB 5400rpm HDD, 128GB SSD, or 256GB SSD.
Other features that come with the Vivobook 4K notebook include a Super-Multi DVD player, a 3-in-1 card reader, a VGA camera, two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, one HDMI port, one VGA port, and one LAN RJ45 jack. The Vivobook Weighs about 2.3kg, it features 2W stereo speakers, and is powered by a 2-cell 37Whr battery,
The display features a 178-degree wide viewing capability, with 72 percent NTSC and vivid colours coupled by the company's homegrown ASUS Eye Care mode to reduce blue-light levels by 33% "to ensure a comfortable viewing experience."
On the software front, the VivoBook 4K runs the very latest, Windows 10. The brushed-metal laptop is available in four colors viz. Icicle Gold, Glacier Grey, Black, and Navy Blue. The company hasn't yet revealed any details on the retail price or availability of the laptop.
