ASUS has announced two new laptops, the Zenbook A14 and Vivobook 16, both powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors.

These devices bring AI-driven computing and extended battery life, with a focus on portability and efficiency.

Zenbook A14: A Lightweight AI Laptop

Weighing 980 grams, the Zenbook A14 is designed for users who need a highly portable device without compromising performance. Its Ceraluminum^TM chassis, a mix of ceramic and aluminum, provides durability while keeping the laptop lightweight.

It comes in two processor variants:

Snapdragon X Elite for high-performance workloads

Snapdragon X for efficient, everyday use

Both models feature Qualcomm's Hexagon NPU, which delivers 45 TOPS of AI performance for tasks like real-time translation and adaptive power management. The 14-inch Lumina OLED display offers 600 nits brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, making it suitable for creative professionals.

ASUS claims the Zenbook A14 can run for up to 32 hours on a single charge. Connectivity includes USB4 ports and Wi-Fi 7 on the Elite variant.

Vivobook 16: AI Features in a Budget-Friendly Laptop

The Vivobook 16 is aimed at a wider audience, bringing AI-powered tools to a more affordable price point. It features the Snapdragon X processor, with 45 TOPS of NPU power for AI-driven applications like Live Captions, Cocreator, and Generative Fill in Paint.

With a 16-inch FHD+ IPS display, a slim 17.9mm profile, and 27-hour battery life, the Vivobook 16 is positioned as an accessible AI laptop for students and professionals.
