CES 2016: HP Counters MacBook Pro with Thinner and Lighter EliteBook Folio Notebook Range
In an reply to Apple's Macbook, Hewlett-Packard (HP) has unveiled its new Notebooks from its EliteBook series ahead of CES 2016. As per the company, EliteBook Folio is the thinner and lighter compared to its predecessor HP EliteBook 1020.
Moving on to the specifications, this Notebook flaunts a 12.5-inch display with 1080p and also comes with optional Ultra HD 4K display. Made up of CNC aluminum body, this device comes with 180-degree hinge which allows it to open absolutely flat.
This Notebook measures just 12.4mm thickness and weighs around 1kg at max. Further, this device comes shipped with Windows 10 Pro out of the box and it is powered by a 6th gen Intel Core M vPr processor. Along with the notebook, users will also get HP Premium Keyboard, Windows 10 gesture-enabled click pad and two USB-C ports.
On the other side, the company has launched the EliteBook 1040 G3 and 800 G3 notebooks. The EliteBook 1040 G3 comes with all-aluminum diamond cut design and available in 12.5-inch 14-inch and 15.6-inch display with HD, FHD QHD and UHD screens.
While the EliteBook 800 G3 comes in silver magnesium and aluminum body with either FHD or QHD screen.

Meanwhile, both the notebooks comes packed with by Intel(R) Core vPro processors, Windows 10 Pro, PCIe Gen3 SSD, Bang & Olufsen audio, HP Noise Reduction Software, clear sound Amp.
Coming to the pricing, the HP EliteBook Folio carries a price tag of $999 (approx Rs. 66,500) and will be available for sale from March. The HP EliteBook 1040 G3 comes at a price of $1,199 (approx Rs. 79,000) and will be available from January.
At last, the HP EliteBook 800 G3 starts at $949 (approx Rs. 63,000) and will go on sale from January.
