Dell has revamped its renowned XPS lineup. The XPS 13, XPS 14, and the high-performance XPS 16 have been upgraded with Intel Core Ultra processors featuring Intel AI Boost Neural Processing Units (NPUs), delivering across-the-board improvements in performance and efficiency.

Design

Dell's XPS series is synonymous with high-end design, and the latest lineup takes it a step further. Crafted from CNC machined aluminum and Gorilla Glass 3, the laptops showcase a tone-on-tone color scheme in Graphite or Platinum. Noteworthy design updates include a touch function row for seamless media and function key transitions, a sleek glass touchpad with haptic feedback, and larger keycaps for enhanced comfort.

AI Integration

The futuristic touch to the XPS lineup lies in its integration of built-in AI capabilities. The Intel Core Ultra processors feature an AI acceleration engine and a neural processing unit, promising accelerated performance and improved battery life. The inclusion of Copilot, a Microsoft-backed AI chatbot, further positions these laptops as everyday AI companions.

XPS 13

The XPS 13, touted as the thinnest and lightest XPS laptop to date, weighs in at just 2.6 pounds. Users can choose from display options such as FHD+, QHD+ touch, and 3K+ OLED touch. Powered by various Intel Core Ultra processors, up to 64GB of LPDDR5X dual-channel RAM, and up to 4TB of PCIe 4 SSD, the XPS 13 caters to a wide range of users seeking everyday productivity and high-resolution content creation.

XPS 14 and XPS 16

The XPS 14, 21% lighter than its larger sibling, the XPS 16, maintains its performance prowess. Configurable with Intel Core Ultra processors, Intel Arc Graphics, or Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs, these laptops are Nvidia Studio-validated systems, excelling in tasks like 3D rendering, video editing, and live streaming.

The XPS 16, the most powerful in the lineup, offers configurations with the latest Intel Core Ultra Processors and up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. With up to 80W of sustained performance, it stands ready to take on complex workloads.

Pricing and Availability

Dell has confirmed the pricing for its XPS lineup. The XPS 13 starts at $1,299.99, the XPS 14 at $1,699.99, and the XPS 16 at $1,899.99. These laptops will be available in Graphite and Platinum color options, with further details on availability expected to be announced at CES 2024.
