CES 2025 | HP Debuts Omen Max 16 with RTX 50 GPUs, 32x Gaming Monitor, and Customizable Saga Mice
HP is stepping up its game in the world of gaming hardware with an impressive lineup unveiled at CES 2025. From a powerhouse gaming laptop to a smart gaming monitor and modular peripherals, HP is catering to gamers who demand both performance and customization. Here's a closer look at what's coming soon.

Omen Max 16
HP has introduced the Omen Max 16, a gaming laptop designed to deliver high performance without compromise. Starting at $1,699.99 (~Rs. 1,46,000), the device offers two processor options: Intel Core Ultra 9 or AMD Ryzen AI 9, paired with up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM. For graphics, it features Nvidia's latest GeForce RTX 5000 series GPU, bringing advanced features like DLSS 4 for enhanced visuals and smoother gameplay.
Thermal management is a key feature, with the laptop debuting HP's Omen Cryo compound, a combination of liquid metal and metal grease for improved heat dissipation. Paired with Omen Tempest Cooling Pro technology, it ensures the device stays cool even during intense gaming sessions. The fan's self-cleaning function further helps by reducing dust buildup over time.
Available in two sleek colors-Ceramic White and Shadow Black-the Omen Max 16 also offers customization options, like an RGB light bar and a lattice-less RGB keyboard. Both can be personalized using HP's Omen Light Studio software.
Omen 32x Smart Gaming Monitor
For gamers who want their setup to double as an entertainment hub, HP has launched the Omen 32x Smart Gaming Monitor. Priced at $749.99 (~Rs. 64,000) and available in April, this monitor brings together gaming, streaming, and smart home capabilities.

The 32-inch 4K UHD display supports a 144Hz refresh rate, delivering sharp visuals and smooth motion. What sets it apart is the inclusion of Google TV, allowing users to switch between gaming and streaming apps effortlessly. Whether you're using a PC, console, or Android phone, the monitor's device-switching feature ensures flexibility.
Streamers will appreciate the built-in capability to broadcast gameplay directly from the monitor to up to four platforms without additional equipment. This makes it a practical choice for content creators looking to simplify their setup.
HyperX Pulsefire Saga Mice
Customization takes center stage with the HyperX Pulsefire Saga series of gaming mice. Starting at $79.99 (~Rs. 6,900) for the standard version and $119.99 (~Rs. 10,000) for the Pro Wireless model, these mice offer up to 16 customization combinations with eight interchangeable parts included in the box.

For those who want to take it a step further, HP provides 3D print files to create custom parts at home. The Pro Wireless model also includes dual wireless connectivity and an Instant Pair feature, which connects seamlessly to Omen laptops without a dongle.
Omen AI
Rounding out the announcements is Omen AI, HP's new AI-powered performance optimization tool. Currently in beta, this one-click solution adjusts hardware, OS, and in-game settings for peak performance tailored to specific games.
The software uses machine learning to continuously improve recommendations based on user habits. While it currently supports Counter-Strike 2, HP plans to expand its compatibility with more games in the near future.
