Dell Launches Alienware 15 Gaming Laptop Alongside New Dell 14S and Dell 16S AI PCs
Dell has announced a new batch of laptops across both its mainstream and gaming lineup. The company has introduced the Alienware 15 gaming laptop alongside the new Dell 14S and Dell 16S productivity-focused AI PCs.
While the Alienware 15 focuses on bringing gaming hardware to a wider audience, the Dell 14S and 16S lean more toward portability, battery life, and on-device AI features.

Alienware 15 Brings RTX 5060 Graphics and 165Hz Display
The new Alienware 15 comes with a redesigned chassis that removes the rear thermal shelf found on some earlier Alienware laptops. Dell says the laptop is built around durability, cooling, and long gaming sessions.
The laptop will be available with AMD Ryzen 7 260 and Ryzen 5 220 processors or Intel Core 7 240H and Core 5 210H chips.
On the graphics side, users can configure the system with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060, RTX 5050, or RTX 4050 GPUs with DLSS support. The system supports up to 110W TPP in select configurations.
Dell has also equipped the laptop with a 15.3-inch WUXGA display featuring a 165Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
For cooling, the Alienware 15 uses a Cryo-tech thermal setup with dual fans, three copper heat pipes, and a rear exhaust system.
Other features include a backlit keyboard with numpad, HD webcam, dual-array microphones, stereo speakers, and multiple ports including HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, RJ45, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Dell 14S and Dell 16S Focus on AI and Battery Life
Alongside the gaming laptop, Dell has also introduced the new Dell 14S and Dell 16S laptops aimed at productivity users and creators.
Both laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with support for up to Intel Core Ultra 9 386H chips. Dell says the systems also include AI acceleration with up to 50 TOPS NPU performance.
AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processor options are expected to arrive later this month.
Dell is positioning both laptops as Copilot+ PCs with AI-powered on-device features designed to improve system responsiveness, video calls, and multitasking.
Slim Design With OLED Display Options
The Dell 14S and 16S focus heavily on portability and premium materials.
The laptops feature slim aluminum designs and come in Celestial Blue and Frost Blue finishes. The Dell 14S starts at 1.45kg, while the Dell 16S weighs 1.76kg.
Display options range from FHD+ panels to QHD+ screens with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Dell is also offering OLED panel options with Dolby Vision and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage.
The laptops also feature Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers and ComfortView Plus technology to reduce eye strain during longer usage sessions.
Battery Life Claims Go Beyond a Full Day
Battery life appears to be one of the bigger focus areas for the new Dell laptops.
Dell claims the 14S can deliver up to 24 hours of productivity battery life and up to 18 hours of streaming. The larger Dell 16S is claimed to offer up to 26 hours of streaming and up to 14 hours of productivity usage.
As always, real-world usage will likely vary depending on brightness levels, workloads, and configurations.
