Dell Launches New XPS 13 with Next-Gen Intel Core Ultra Processors in India
Dell has just launched the latest version of its XPS 13 laptop in India, powered by Intel's next-gen Core Ultra Series 2 processors. Designed with both creators and professionals in mind, the new XPS 13 promises to offer a balance of performance, portability, and practical AI features without making any compromises.
Let's take a look at what this new release brings to the table.

Display and Design
The XPS 13 comes with a 13.4-inch InfinityEdge display, featuring tandem OLED technology. This means users can expect higher brightness and better energy efficiency. With the inclusion of Dolby Vision and Eyesafe technology, the display offers vivid colors and reduces eye strain-a feature many will appreciate during long work sessions. The 120Hz variable refresh rate ensures smooth performance without draining the battery too quickly.
AI-Driven Performance
The new XPS 13 features Intel's Core Ultra Series 2 processor, which includes an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of up to 48 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second). Essentially, this means the laptop is well-equipped to handle advanced AI features, like optimizing video calls with Microsoft Studio Effects and boosting overall performance. For anyone who works with video editing or other content-heavy applications, the inclusion of Intel Arc Graphics should make a noticeable difference, improving performance by up to 3.1x over the previous generation.
Raj Kumar Rishi, Vice President of Dell Technologies India, mentioned how the XPS 13 is geared toward making AI more accessible for users, whether they're in the office or working remotely. The focus is on improving productivity through AI-driven solutions without sacrificing performance.
Microsoft Copilot Integration
The XPS 13 also comes with Microsoft Copilot, an AI-powered assistant integrated into Windows 11. It's designed to help users with tasks like managing projects, providing quick insights, and streamlining workflows. This feature is a nice touch for those who want to simplify their work without constantly juggling multiple apps.
Lightweight and Portable
Weighing in at just 1.2 kg and with a thickness of 14.8mm, the new XPS 13 is Dell's thinnest yet. It's designed to be easy to carry around, making it ideal for people on the go. Despite the slim profile, the laptop offers up to 26 hours of battery life on an FHD+ display, which means you can likely get through a full day of work without needing to recharge constantly.
Availability and Price
The new XPS 13 is available starting today at select Dell Exclusive Stores, large-format retailers, and multi-brand outlets across India. It will also be available on Dell's website starting October 18, 2024, with a starting price of ₹181,990.
