Dell XPS 14, XPS 16 Launched in India With Intel Core Ultra Series 3 Processors: Check Price, Specs

Dell is bringing the XPS brand back to India.

The company has launched the new XPS 14 and XPS 16 in the country, bringing back one of its most recognizable premium laptop lineups after a long gap. These new models focus on portability, battery life, and AI-ready performance, while also making a few design changes that longtime XPS users will probably notice right away.

Prices start at Rs 2,05,990 for the XPS 14, while the larger XPS 16 starts at Rs 2,78,550.

What’s New This Time?

Dell says these are its thinnest XPS laptops yet.

The XPS 14 measures 14.6mm and weighs 1.36kg, while the XPS 16 weighs 1.65kg. The company has also brought back the traditional function row, which many users will likely appreciate after brands started experimenting with touch-based controls.

Another noticeable change is the return of the XPS logo on the lid, which Dell says was something users had been asking for.

Both laptops use CNC-machined aluminum and Gorilla Glass 3, keeping the premium build that the XPS lineup is known for.

Intel Core Ultra Processors And Bigger Battery Focus

The new laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, with configurations going up to the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H.

Dell is also bundling Intel Arc graphics and offering up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM.

The company claims the new thermal design includes larger fans for better airflow, quieter performance, and cooler surface temperatures.

Battery life is another major focus here. Dell claims up to 27 hours of Netflix streaming and over 40 hours of local video playback, though real-world usage will obviously vary depending on your workload.

Display And Audio Features

The XPS 14 and XPS 16 come with InfinityEdge displays, and buyers can choose between:

• 2K LCD panels
• 2.8K OLED displays
• 3.2K Tandem OLED touch displays

Dell says the newer OLED panels are more power-efficient than previous generations.

For audio, both laptops feature a hidden 10W quad-speaker system with spatial audio support.

You also get an 8MP webcam designed to take up less space while helping Dell keep bezels thin.
