GIGABYTE Launches AORUS Master 16 in India with Built-In AI Agent: Check Price, Specs, Availability
GIGABYTE has introduced its AORUS Master 16 laptop in India, marking its entry into the emerging category of AI-powered PCs. The device combines high-performance internals with AI features like GiMATE, a built-in voice-controlled assistant.
While the laptop is clearly positioned as a premium option for gamers and creators, its focus on AI workflows hints at broader ambitions.

Voice-Controlled System Settings with GiMATE
At the center of the AORUS Master 16 is GiMATE, an AI agent developed by GIGABYTE to let users interact with system settings through natural voice input. Users can switch power profiles, control cooling, or adjust audio with voice commands via a “Press and Speak” button.
Unlike typical digital assistants focused on general queries, GiMATE is designed specifically for hardware-level adjustments. It's powered by a large language model (LLM) and aligns with NVIDIA’s NIM microservices, opening up options for developers interested in running localized AI agents or custom workflows directly on the device.
High-End Internals: Intel Ultra 9 and RTX 5080 GPU
The laptop runs on the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and offers configurations up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, based on the latest Blackwell architecture. These components are backed by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage, providing enough headroom for AI inference tasks, real-time ray tracing, and high-resolution content creation.

Thermal performance is handled by a 230W WINDFORCE INFINITY EX cooling system, which includes a vapor chamber, asymmetric fan blades, and a design focused on efficient heat dissipation. A 0dB silent mode and ambient cooling features are also included, likely to appeal to users working in quieter environments.
Display and Audio Setup
The AORUS Master 16 is equipped with an OLED screen supporting Dolby Vision HDR, paired with a set of dual-force speakers and Dolby Atmos support. These features are aimed at users who prioritize visual fidelity and immersive sound but don’t want to rely on external peripherals.
Pricing and Availability
The laptop will be available in India soon via Amazon and Flipkart, with pricing starting at ₹3,15,000.
