Haier entered into the ultraportable laptop market with the introduction of two Cloudbook and an Ultrabook at CES 2016. Haier also showcased its newest Windows tablet with a full range of practical features and characteristics
The company's new devices (Cloudbook HT1410 and Ultrabook) is claimed to offer a great performance, with numerous state-of-the-art functions.
Cloudbook HT1401: Haier's new Windows 10 Cloudbook
The Cloudbook HT1401 is based on Windows 10 platform. It sports a 14.1 inch display and is powered by an Intel quad-core Bay Trail processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a microSD port capable of extending memory capacity to 64GB. It is backed 10,000mAh lithium-ion polymer battery that offers up to 8 hours battery life in use.
This laptop also features two USB 2.0 ports and an HDMI port and supported with connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi. The Cloudbook will be available in selected European markets in Q3 2015 with a suggested retail price of EUR 229, and is available in white color.
Ultrabook: an ultra-slim design laptop
At CES 2016, Haier also presented an Ultrabook with a 13.3 inch full HD display, based on the Windows 10 operating system. This ultraportable laptop aligns design and mobility. Thanks to its 128GB SSD storage and 4GB RAM, it is the ideal companion for working in all scenarios. Its light weight (1.3kg) and slimness (1.2 cm) give the Ultrabook an elegant and modern look.
The edge of the device features 2 USB 3.0 ports, a micro-HDMI port, the charging port, an SD card reader and an optional 4G LTE SIM card reader. The 11.1V, 26Wh Li-Polymer battery offers a day's usage without needing to recharge.
The Ultrabook will be available in selected European markets in Q2 2016 with a suggested retail price starting from EUR549.90., and is available gold colours.
HaierPad W1225P: an XXL tablet
The HaierPad W1225P features an extra-large 12.2 inch full HD IPS screen with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels, offering optimal visual comfort for watching videos, as well as perfect fluidity thanks to the device's powerful Intel Skylake-Y processor and its large capacity RAM of 4GB.
The device is equipped with Windows 10, the latest version bringing improvements in lighting, security and other areas. The tablet has a micro-HDMI port, a micro-USB 3.0 port and a micro-SD reader, enabling users to extend the device's memory to 32GB. The 8500 mAh battery offers a day's usage without needing to recharge.
