From RTX Spark Laptops to AI Supercomputers: Everything HP Announced at Computex 2026

HP has announced a new lineup of AI-focused PCs and workstations at Computex 2026, expanding its portfolio with systems designed for local AI development, content creation, and hybrid AI workflows.

The announcements include upcoming RTX Spark-powered laptops, a compact AI desktop, enterprise-grade AI compute systems, and new tools aimed at helping developers build and run AI applications with less setup work.

RTX Spark Is Coming to HP's OmniBook Laptops

One of the biggest announcements is HP's adoption of NVIDIA RTX Spark, a platform built to bring AI acceleration and RTX technologies to thin-and-light laptops.

HP confirmed that RTX Spark-powered versions of the OmniBook Ultra 16 and OmniBook X 14 are scheduled to arrive later this year. The company says the platform is designed for creators, gamers, and AI developers who want to run AI workloads directly on their PCs.

HP also plans to expand its RTX Spark lineup with a compact desktop PC, although details about the system are still under wraps.

Windows Support Planned for GB300 AI Systems

HP also announced that its high-performance AI systems powered by NVIDIA's GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip will gain Windows support later this year.

The move is aimed at enterprise users who want to build and deploy AI agents while maintaining compatibility with existing Windows applications and workflows. HP says the systems are designed to help organizations run advanced AI workloads locally while remaining connected to broader enterprise environments.

New ZGX Nano Targets Secure AI Deployments

Another addition to the lineup is a new configuration of the HP ZGX Nano.

The system is designed for environments where security is a priority. According to HP, the hardware and software are tightly integrated to reduce potential attack surfaces by limiting wireless access and external interfaces.

The company says the system is intended for classified, remote, and regulated environments that require secure local AI processing.

HP Wants to Make AI Development Easier

Alongside new hardware, HP is positioning several of its systems as developer PCs built specifically for the AI era.

The company says these machines are designed to support local AI agents, hybrid AI workflows, open-source tools, and both Windows and Linux environments. HP also plans to offer pre-configured developer environments, command-line workflows, OpenClaw-based starter kits, and support for agent frameworks such as Hermes.

The goal is to reduce setup time and allow developers to move from an idea to a working AI agent more quickly.

OmniDesk Mini Packs AI Features Into a Compact Design

HP also introduced the OmniDesk Mini Desktop PC, a compact system powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors.

One of its key features is Thunderbolt Share, which allows users to control two PCs using a single keyboard and mouse while moving files between systems. The desktop also supports up to four 4K displays and includes dual Thunderbolt 4 ports for connectivity.

The OmniDesk Mini is expected to be available in August 2026. Pricing will be announced closer to launch.

HP Updates the Z2 Mini Workstation

HP is also expanding its workstation lineup with an updated Z2 Mini G1a powered by AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400 series processors.

The workstation will include AMD's AI developer software stack, featuring Ryzen AI Developer Center, ROCm, pre-installed AI frameworks, models, and guided playbooks. HP says the goal is to provide developers with a ready-to-use platform for building and running AI workloads without extensive configuration.

The system is expected to become available through select retail channels later this year.

Availability

HP says the RTX Spark-powered OmniBook Ultra 16 and OmniBook X 14 will launch later in 2026. Full specifications, regional availability, and pricing details will be shared closer to release.

The OmniDesk Mini Desktop PC is expected to arrive in August 2026, while the updated Z2 Mini G1a workstation is also slated for availability later this year.
