HP Expands Gaming and AI Laptop Lineup with New Omen and EliteBook Models
HP has introduced two new gaming laptops-the Omen 16 Slim and the refreshed Omen Transcend 14-alongside four AI-powered EliteBook models.
These devices bring Intel's Arrow Lake processors and NVIDIA's RTX 50-series GPUs, promising enhanced performance for gamers and professionals alike.

Omen 16 Slim: A Lighter and Sleeker Gaming Machine
HP's Omen 16 Slim is a thinner and more compact version of its standard Omen 16, reducing bulk by 16% while maintaining powerful hardware. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, making it well-suited for high-performance gaming.
It features a 16-inch IPS display with a 240Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth gameplay and reduced motion blur. Users can choose between 16GB and 32GB of DDR5 RAM, while storage is handled by a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD.
Omen Transcend 14: Lightweight and Power-Packed
For those who prefer a lighter gaming laptop, the updated Omen Transcend 14 weighs just 1.675 kg, making it a portable powerhouse. It shares the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor and RTX 5070 GPU with the Omen 16 Slim but swaps in a 14-inch 3K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering vivid colors and sharp contrast.
The laptop also includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and Thunderbolt 4 for seamless connectivity. HP's Omen AI technology further optimizes gaming performance by adjusting system settings based on usage patterns.
HP has yet to announce pricing and availability details for both gaming laptops.
