HP Launches Chromebook 14 with Intel Celeron N2840 processor and Free 100GB Cloud Storage.

    HP has revamped its Chromebook 14 with improved battery life and a thinner body. The new Chromebook 14 comes with a 14 inch display and is offered in two models - one with a 1366×768 pixel HD and the other one with a display of 1920×1080 pixel full-HD.The new Chromebook 14 is powered by an Intel Celeron N2840 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of eMMC storage.

    The Chromebook is offered with 100 GB of free cloud storage on Google Drive for two years, allowing users to store, share and collaborate files and documents with Google Apps.Customers will also be able to view three, free Google Play movie rentals and will receive a free subscription to Google Play music for 90 days.

    The Chromebook 14 comes with one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and a microSD card reader. The improved battery life, offer users up to 9 hours and 15 minutes.The HP Chromebook 14 supports a HP Sleep and Charge port via a USB 3.0 port for charging devices on the go.

    The latest Chromebook 14 starts at 3.94 pounds and is 17.8mm thin. HP has also announced the Chromebook 14 G4, a Chromebook designed for small medium business (SMB) and educational customers, from $270 (approx Rs.17,800) onward. The notebook supports enhanced virtualization and VPN connectivity. The G4 version of the Chromebook 14 is also available in another version with 32GB of eMMC storage.

    The HP Chromebook 14 is available in two colors - Turbo Silver and Sky Blue starting at $249.99 (approx Rs.16250) while the Full HD HP Chromebook 14 starts at $279.99 (approx Rs.18,200).They will be available in the US from select retailers on November 8, 2015.
