HyperX OMEN 15 Debuts in India With Intel i7 and RTX 5060: Check Price, Specs, Features

HP has launched the HyperX OMEN 15 in India, marking the company’s first gaming laptop under the HyperX branding. The launch reflects HP’s broader effort to bring its gaming products under a unified identity that spans hardware and software.

The HyperX OMEN 15 is positioned as a high-performance gaming laptop, targeting users who need sustained performance for gaming and content creation.

Performance Hardware and Core Features

The HyperX OMEN 15 is powered by the 14th-generation Intel Core i7-14650HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. HP says the system supports up to 170W total processor power, which is designed to handle demanding workloads.

One of the notable additions is an 8K polling rate keyboard, aimed at improving input responsiveness during gaming.

Display and Thermal Design

The laptop features a 15.3-inch 2.5K IPS display with a 180Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and 500 nits brightness. It also offers full sRGB color coverage and Eyesafe certification.

For thermal management, HP includes OMEN Tempest Cooling, along with software features such as OMEN AI and Unleashed Mode, which adjust performance and thermal behavior in real time.

Software and Customization

The HyperX OMEN 15 runs on Windows 11 and integrates with OMEN Gaming Hub, which allows users to manage performance and cooling settings. It also supports RGB customization through OMEN Light Studio.

Price and Availability in India

HP has announced that the HyperX OMEN 15 will be available in India through Flipkart and select offline retail channels. The laptop will start at ₹1,49,999 and will be offered in a Shadow Black finish.
