HP Sees Good Growth In Manufacturing, Banking Services: Report
After achieving a dominant position consumer segment, HP is now seeing good growth in the enterprise segment (manufacturing, banking, and financial services and IT-IT-enabled services), reports PTI. According to the report, the company is also planning to launch many products in the same category. In fact, the newly launched Elite Dragonfly is specially designed for the same.
Meanwhile, the tech major has launched the Elite Dragonfly laptop in India. The newly launched laptop is priced at Rs. 1,49,990 and weighing around 990 grams. It supports an 8th Gen Intel Core vPro processor and has CNC-machined Magnesium for durability.
"We have not seen any slowdown in demand for PCs from the enterprise segment, we continue to see traction across verticals like manufacturing, BFSI, government, IT-ITeS as well as small and medium enterprises," HP Inc India Senior Director, Personal Systems Vickram Bedi was quoted by PTI. Adding that, "The Indian workforce is extremely mobile and is looking for computing devices that are light, durable, always connected and secure."
It comes with a backlit keyboard and glass touchpad. Besides, it features a screen-to-body ratio of almost 86 percent. In fact, HP claims that the newly launched laptop is the world's first notebook that comes with ocean-bound plastics.
Also, it's a convertible laptop which also means users can rotate the screen up to 360 degrees. Furthermore, it has 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage space along with a 13-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Besides, the display supports stylus input and claims to deliver a battery life of up to 24.5 hours.
