Lenovo has introduced an updated version of the IdeaPad Slim 5 (Gen 10) in India, now equipped with up to AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processors. The laptop is available in 14-inch and 16-inch screen sizes, both powered by a 60Wh battery.

Built to handle everyday use, it meets military-grade durability standards and comes with AI-integrated features like Lenovo AI Now and Learning Zone.

Display and Performance

The 16-inch model features a 2.8K OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and 500 nits of brightness, delivering sharp and vibrant visuals. The 14-inch variant comes with a WUXGA OLED display, and both models support a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth performance.

Powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, these laptops incorporate Zen 5 cores, an AMD RDNA 3.5 GPU, and an XDNA 2 NPU, capable of processing up to 55 TOPS (trillion operations per second).

AI-Integrated Features

Lenovo's AI Now runs a local LLM based on Meta’s Llama 3, offering Q&A assistance and workflow optimization. The Learning Zone tool enables users to record lectures, convert text, summarize documents, and generate quizzes, making it a practical tool for students and professionals. These features are pre-installed in select configurations.

Despite its slim 16.9mm profile, the IdeaPad Slim 5 (Gen 10) adheres to military-grade durability standards. It includes quick charging support, an IR full-HD camera, a ToF sensor, a privacy shutter, and AI-powered noise cancellation to enhance user convenience.
