LG Gram Fold debuts as the brand's first mainstream Foldable Laptop

LG has officially unveiled the Gram Fold as its first mainstream foldable laptop. This innovative foldable laptop comes hot on the heels of HP's Spectre Foldable PC and Lenovo's Yoga Book 9i.

The LG Gram Fold delivers more power with the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processor. Now, let us delve into the details about the LG Gram Fold's price, availability, and specifications.

LG Gram Fold Price, Availability

The LG Gram Fold has been unveiled in its home market, South Korea in limited quantities. Unfortunately, there has been no announcement about its global launch. The foldable laptop has been priced at 4.99 million won (roughly Rs 3,07,250).

However, the first 200 customers will get a price drop of 3.99 million won (roughly Rs 2,45,700). The Gram Fold is already available in the South Korean market and will go on sale from October 4 through the official Korean LG online brand shop.

LG Gram Fold Specifications

The LG Gram Fold features a large 17-inch QXGA+ (2,560 x 1,920) foldable OLED touch display. This screen offers a 4:3 aspect ratio when unfolded, and transitions into a 12-inch tablet with 3:2 aspect ratio when folded.
Powered by a 13th generation Intel Core i5 1335U with 10 cores and Iris XE GPU, the laptop provides robust power and performance.

The laptop comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage. The LG Gram Fold also packs a 72Whr battery and runs Windows 11 Home.

It includes connectivity options like two USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type C ports, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 6E. It also comes with Dolby Atmos tuned stereo speakers. LG's new foldable laptop also comes with an HD webcam that supports Windows Hello facial recognition.

The foldable laptop can be used as a laptop, e-reader, or tablet and offers stylus support. LG claims that its foldable laptop has been tested to last up to 30,000 folds and unfolds, which roughly translates to 20 folds and unfolds per day for four years.
