Primebook 3 Max Budget Laptop with MediaTek Genio 720, LPDDR5 RAM, PrimeOS Launched in India
Primebook is preparing to launch its third-generation laptop lineup in India, with the Primebook 3 Max set to lead the range. The new laptop brings upgraded hardware, longer battery life and several new features to the PrimeOS platform, including expanded Linux support and access to Windows software through the cloud.
Primebook 3 Max Specifications and Features
The Primebook 3 Max is powered by the MediaTek Genio 720 octa-core processor, featuring two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. Graphics are handled by a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The laptop comes with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS storage, with support for expansion up to 1TB.

Primebook claims the new hardware offers up to 40% better performance than the previous-generation model.
The laptop features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display with a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution and up to 250 nits brightness. A 60.3Wh battery is rated to deliver up to 12 hours of usage, while 36W USB-C charging handles power delivery.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C 3.2, USB-C 2.0, USB-A 3.2, USB-A 2.0, microSD and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Other features include a 5-megapixel webcam supporting 1440p video at 30fps, dual microphones, stereo speakers and a backlit keyboard.
PrimeOS Gets New Productivity and Linux Features
Primebook is also expanding the PrimeOS experience beyond its Android foundation. PrimeOffice is an offline-first productivity suite for documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
The new PrimeLinux feature provides native access to applications such as VS Code, GIMP, LibreOffice, Firefox, Arduino IDE, DBeaver CE, TablePlus and Postman, along with a Linux terminal.
The software package also includes PrimeSecurity and Task Manager for app security, device monitoring and resource management. PrimeX Cloud PC provides access to Windows software, while PrimeAGNT adds AI-powered operator capabilities.
Primebook 3 Max Price and Availability
The Primebook 3 Max is expected to launch in India around October 1, with a starting price of ₹35,990. It will be available through Amazon, Flipkart and the Primebook website, as well as select Bajaj Electronics, Sangeetha Mobiles and Pai International stores.
The laptop will also be sold during the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026 and Flipkart Big Billion Days, where promotional pricing is expected. The Primebook 3 Pro is expected to join the third-generation lineup at a later date.
