Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Series Announced with Intel Core Ultra CPU, 120Hz AMOLED Display

Intel recently launched a new family of laptop processors globally titled, "Intel Core Ultra". And one of the first brands to adopt these new Intel CPUs is the Samsung Galaxy Book 4.

The line-up includes the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Ultra, Galaxy Book 4 Pro, and Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360. Samsung claims that the latest Galaxy Book 4 series will debut as the most "intelligent and powerful" Galaxy Books yet.

Samsung Book 4 Ultra Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 or Core Ultra 7 CPU with Intel's Evo branding. The CPU is paired with up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage. Dedicated graphics options include an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 or RTX 4050 laptop GPU.

The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra sports a 16-inch WQXGA+ (2880×1800 pixels) AMOLED Touch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of 400 nits. The panel boasts an adaptive refresh rate 48Hz - 120Hz and 120% DCI-P3 wide color gamut. The screen also features Vision Booster technology for enhanced visibility outdoors and anti-reflective technology.

To complete the entertainment experience, the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra features AKG quad speakers with Dolby Atmos. The laptop also packs a 76Whr battery that is paired with a 140W USB Type-C adapter. The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra also features a 2 MP Full HD webcam, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and more.

Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Pro Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Pro is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7 CPU with Intel's Evo branding. The CPU is paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe SSD storage. There's no dedicated graphics here, instead, the laptop uses an integrated Intel Arc Graphics.

The Galaxy Book 4 Pro comes in 16-inch and 14-inch AMOLED Touch display options. Apart from the size, the rest of the display specifications are the same as the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra. The 14-inch Galaxy Book 4 Pro packs a 63Wh battery, while the 16-inch model uses the same 76Wh battery as the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra.

Samsung has downgraded the charging brick on the Galaxy Book 4 Pro to a 65W USB Type-C adapter. To complete the entertainment experience, the Galaxy Book 4 Pro models also feature AKG quad speakers with Dolby Atmos. The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra also features a 2 MP Full HD webcam, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and more.

The Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 packs a 76Wh battery with a 65W USB Type-C adapter in the box. You also get an S Pen in the box. The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra also features a 2 MP Full HD webcam, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and more.

Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Series Availability

Samsung is yet to disclose details about the Galaxy Book 4's pricing and availability in India, although it will be made available in Korea from January 2024. The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Ultra arrives in a sole Moonstone Gray color option, while the Book 4 Pro and Book 4 Pro 360 come in Moonstone Gray and Platinum Silver shades.
