Smartron, India's first global technology OEM today announced the launch of the next-generation of its multifunctional laptop, the tbook flex. Running on Windows 10 it automatically switches between laptop and tablet mode for a seamless experience.
The tbook flex will be available for Rs 42,990 and Rs 52,990 for the "m3" and "i5" versions, respectively, on Flipkart, starting May 13.
The device has a 12.2-inch WQXGA display with 2560x1600 resolution. According to the company, its multi-touch display responds accurately to your finger-touch and the stylus pen.
The device also comes a 2-megapixel front camera and a 5-megapixel rear camera, along with a dual mic, speakers, dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The two variants are powered by a 7th Gen. Intel Core m3, 7Y30, (1.00 GHz up to 2.60 GHz) processor and a 7th Gen. Intel Core i5, 7Y54, (1.20 GHz up to 3.20 GHz) processor.
"Its unique dual tone finish and a flixstand with a step-less hinge design and an ability to flex up to 150 degrees are what makes this laptop stand out. It Meanwhile with an island style, backlit, keyboard for typing even in low light environments," the company said in a statement.
The device is also equipped with "Thunderbolt" 3 USB-Type C port that enables users to transfer data at rates up to 40 Gbps.
The laptop comes with a type-C fast-charging in color variants of dual tone orange-grey and black grey.
The company has also initiated a launch campaign for tbook flex, #TheFlexperience, highlighting the flexibility that the device offers. tbook flex has been designed for those who are always on the move and require a multipurpose and multifunctional laptop with increased mobility, productivity, and performance.
To recall Smartron also announced the launch of all new Gold Edition of the tphone P.
The company has also partnered with Disco King, also known as the gold man of India, Bappi Da to reveal the #PowerOfGold for the new tphone P Gold "Sona Kahan Hai" Campaign on social media. As a part of the campaign, Smartron created a series of videos on with Bappi Da highlighting his need for Gold.
Meanwhile, the company is also planning to launch its t-band early next week, sources informed Gizbot.
