Infinix Zero 40 5G: Overview

The Infinix Zero 40 5G was launched today (September 18) in India, which falls into the sub-30K segment. In terms of specifications, the smartphone sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ 10-bit Curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. 

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset, the device comes with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint reader and dual stereo speakers with sound by JBL. Moreover, the Infinix Zero 40 packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired, 20W wireless fast charging and 10W reserve wireless charging.

For imaging, there is a triple-rear camera setup including a 108MP Samsung HM6 primary sensor with OIS support, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, the Infinix Zero 40 5G opts for a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 selfie camera.

Both front and front cameras also support 4K video recording at 60fps. On the software front, Zero 40 runs Android 14-based XOS 14.5. Lastly, the price of the smartphone starts at Rs 27,999 in India.
