Here are the cool new features of Qualcomm's new chipsets launched at Computex 2016
Qualcomm is in Taipei at Computex 2016 and the company is getting ready to launch its new range of upgraded products for both mobile as well as home solutions. The chipset manufacturer has opened its doors to OEMs and manufacturers to try out their latest chipsets that will run at the heart of many devices to come out this year.
Here're all the new upgrades that are coming to the devices that come with Qualcomm in the heart.
HomeComm
Internet of Things is spreading like wildfire across the planet. It is no wonder that with the rise of smartphones, connecting your home appliances too with your device should be mandatory. Qualcomm has launched its next generation of chipsets for IoT devices by upping their game. Improved security, dual-band compatibility, and low-power Wi-Fi support have been included in the new chipsets.
It also now supports a wider range of software which would interact with the devices via Apple's HomeKit and Google's Weave.

Snapdragon Wearable
Qualcomm has introduced a new range of Snapdragon Wear chipsets that can be used on future wearables design for a single purpose. Unlike the Snapdragon Wear 2100, the 1100 is capable of providing better battery life and will be used on wearables for senior citizens and kids. These devices will not churn out the kind of high-end performance, but will be easy to use for everyone.
Gigabit net
The company has introduced new sets of chipsets to enable ISPs to transition from VDSL to Gigabit access technologies. The new chipsets help current companies to transition to higher speeds with no compromise on services to customers.
