In this CES 2016, we have seen some of the amazing technologies from various manufacturers under one roof at Las Vegas. The time runs faster, so does the technology! Toyota’s
This is one of the show stealer in the CES 2016! Named as Toyota's FCV Plus, this concept car is based on future environmentally friendly theory. Powered by hydrogen, this car can act as a power generator and also can supply electrical power to a home or office.
Light Detection and Ranging
It is more important to have a better navigation system, if you are manufacturing self-driving car. To navigate it properly, the laser-scanning LiDAR (light detection and ranging) unit has been showcased by Velodyne. This can be incorporated on the side mirrors of the cars.
Toyota
Toyota has showcased the future of automotive at CES 2016, employing self-driving. The company has invested $1 billion on artificial intelligence and accessibility research for Toyota's autonomous driving research.
Nvidia
This two-chip computer is manufactured to equip in the self-driving car. This chipset can process live feeds from video cameras and laser imaging, which will be processed by autonomous driving software.
Batmobile
This car colloquially called as Batmobile, this beast manages 0-60 mph in less than 3 seconds with total horsepower of 1,000 and a top speed of more than 200 mph. Anyhow, the availability and cost is unknown till now.
Volkswagen
This entertainment system comes with 9.2-inch touchscreen along with natural voice interaction and gesture control. This system is compatible with MirrorLink, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Further, Keyword Activation voice recognition allows you to control the system without any pressing.
Audi
This SUV car from Audi can drive itself through traffic jams and can find parking slot for itself without any manual help. This car comes with advanced dashboard with curved AMOLED screen inside replacing the buttons and audio player. To make it more aerodynamic, the company has employed movable panels which shift itself according to the air pressure.
Harmon
Car's biggest infotainment and navigation supplier has showcased the advanced driving concept, which uses crowdsourced information about traffic, parking, and road hazards to make the road journey smooth and hassle free. This concept will use various parts of car including wiper and external cameras.
BMW
This BMW concept car comes with new features including built around AirTouch, a gesture-sensing technology that lets the driver or passenger to indicate without having to actually reach out and touch the 21-inch LCD screen.
4Moms
In this CES 2016 tech event, 4Moms has showcased the rear-facing-only infant child car seat with features that can pair with smartphone app to automatically tension and recline the seat.
