Previously India-based smartphone maker Micromax launched its Unite 2 smartphone and Canvas Engage to compete against the hot selling Moto E smartphone. Moreover, even Lava joined the same league by launching Iris X1.
However, these all smartphones were very affordable and came with the Android KitKat flavor. But this week, apart from these, a number of smartphones also got launched. Thus today GizBot has come up with a line-up of the best ones. But these devices are not priced as liberally as the ones that were mentioned earlier.
Moreover, the line-up we have come up with today is more versatile and are priced at all possible range. There are devices from LG, Wickedleak, Xolo and Alcatel in the league.
In the mean time, also since Computex 2014 is all set to kick off next week, most of the tech firms are also ready with their sets of product. Acer has already revealed its new line-up ahead of the tech festival while Asus has started teasing theirs.
In terms of low-end smartphone with KitKat OS, Samsung is reportedly said to working on the Moto E competitor as well. And on the other hand, Motorola is also working on a new high-end smartphone which was recently leaked. It is called the Moto X+1.

LG G Pro 2
LG G Pro 2 comes with 5.9-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and runs Android 4.4 Kitkat out-of-the-box. The premium handset is powered by a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB/ 32GB of internal storage. On the camera front, there's a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS+ (and LED flash, while there is a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. The device's rear-facing camera is also capable of recording videos in 4K format. The makers have added a 3,200mAh battery fitted inside. Other connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and more. The handset will be made available in Titan Black, Silver and White colour variants.
Wickedleak Wammy Neo
The Wammy Neo sports a 5-inch IPS display offering a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, it comes powered by a MediaTek true octa-core processor (MTK6592) clocked at 1.7GHz and Mali MP GPU coupled with 2GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS which is upgradeable to 4.4 KitKat OS. On the camera front, one can expect a 13-megapixel snapper and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, along with features like Motion Capture and Voice Capture. Wammy Neo's 8GB internal memory is expandable up to 64GB. The connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It is powered by a 2,220 mAh battery.
The Xolo Q1200 comes with a better specs but older version of Android OS. It features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is also powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), (upgradable to Android v4.4 KitKat). There is a 8MP rear camera with Dual LED Flash and Sony Exmor R sensor along with a 2MP front-facing shooter. Native storage is seated at 8GB and it is expandable via MicroSD card. Connectivity options include G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG. The Xolo Q1200 comes powered by a 2000 mAh battery.
Alcatel One Touch IDOL X+
Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ features a 5-inch Full HD 1080p display and pixel density up to 441ppi. The device is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, while the makers have added a respectable 16 GB and features a 13.1-megapixel Auto Focus rear camera with LED flash. There's a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is powered by a 2500mAh battery fitted inside.
LG L80 Dual
LG L80, currently available at Rs. 15,499 features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 mobile processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be later expanded via a microSD card slot. On the imaging front, there's a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with a LED Flash and a VGA quality front-facing camera.
