A110 Canvas 2 Now Available Online For Rs 9,999: What's Good and What's Bad in the new Micromax Phablet?

Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 is now available for online purchase for just Rs.9,999. The company has started taking pre-orders for this device. Users can buy this phone for price of Rs 9,999 from major online retail stores such as Saholic and Snapdeal. The device is released in two standard colors - black and white.

Dimensions & Weight: Though the weight of the phablet is not disclosed by the manufacturer, Canvas 2 measures 147 x 76.5 x 9.7 mm in dimension.

Display: When it comes to the display, both the phablet has a 5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.

Processor: In this segment, A110 Canvas 2 comes with a 1GHz dual core processor.

Operating System:The phablet is flavored with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

Camera: On the camera optics front, A100 Canvas 2 has an 8MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera.

Camera Average

Though there is an 8MP rear camera on the phablet, the screen resolution is too low (480 x 800 pixels) totaling only to 196 ppi pixel density approximately, hence, the camera performance might not be as good as it is in other devices with 8MP and at a higher price.

Internal memory Low

  • As Canvas A100, which was launched in August 2012 faced some issues including sluggish performance, hence, consumers might like to have some expert feedback on its successor before buying one.
