Acer Iconia Talk S Launched With 4G LTE and Dual SIM Support

Acer one of the popular PC makers has announced a new tablet with a voice call support. Dubbed as the Iconia Talk S, a brand new tablet also comes with an LTE connectivity options along with a dual SIM slot.

Thus, this could be an eligible tablet to buy if you want for both personal and professional work. As of now, there are hardly any tablets with decent price tag and LTE connectivity available at the moment. And most of the tablets with LTE support come at a very hefty price.

Anyway, as far as the specs of the new Acer tablet is concerned, it sports a 7-inch IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels.

It is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. The tablet is likely to be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop as well.

There is also a 2 MP front-facing camera and a 5 MP rear camera for taking pictures. The tablet houses 16 GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.

The latest offering from Acer is powered by a 3780 mAh battery.

The Acer Iconia Talk S will be on sale soon in Taiwan for about $250 (Approx. Rs. 15,422). Acer didn't say if it's planning to release the new slate in other markets.

It is pretty unclear whether the device will hit the Indian market or not.
