Acer's Liquid Ferrari handsets raced to the hearts of Acer fans a year ago. Now Acer is ready to start the engine once again with their launch of the Acer Liquid Mini Ferrari Edition. The launch won't be anytime soon though. Acer Liquid Ferrari Smartphone and Mini Ferrari edition are certified by the one and only, original Ferrari and it will be ready for sale in the coming months.

Acer Liquid Mini Ferrari weighs about 105 grams. The new mobile Smartphone looks cool in the official trademark glossy red color of Ferrari sports cars including the logo of Ferrari as well. The handset is not christened as the Ferrari Mini edition for nothing. The phone includes built-in contents like Wallpapers of Ferrari automobiles, lots of pictures and apparently the sound of Ferrari's engine. Acer Liquid Mini Ferrari edition owes the credit of its speedy performance to the Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227-1 chipset equipped with a ARM 11 processor of 600 MHz clock speed. The Adreno 200 graphics accelerator card gives awesome visual effects to the handset. RAM has 512 MB size which is more than enough. The RAM and the processor specifications may sound outdated, but the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS will compensate the absence of high end specifications. Gingerbread Android means tons of applications for your phone. So it's a great asset.

The rear camera, although 5 Megapixel one doesn't come with flash which is pretty disappointing for such a cool looking new mobile phone. As a matter of fact, you are going to be really disappointed if you have high hopes for the camera. Its video recording capability is not up to the mark as it's unable to record 720p resolution HD videos. Still, there is a considerable amount of clarity in the video records. The user interface is quite smooth because of the latest UI version of Acer known as Acer UI 4.2. The original Acer Liquid Ferrari has a comparatively larger screen than the mini Ferrari edition. Maximum resolution of the latter is only 320 x 480 pixels. But pixel density is quite high with 229 ppi, giving better display quality. Memory slots in Acer Liquid Mini Ferrari edition accept Micro SD cards only and the handset comes with an 8 GB micro SD card and an exclusive Bluetooth headset branded by Ferrari.

Acer didn't yet reveal the price of Acer Liquid Mini Ferrari edition new mobile Smartphone, but supposedly the price in India will be very reasonable.
