Since the Mobile World Congress 2014 is just around the corner, almost all the smartphone manufacturers are getting adjusted to their MWC mode.
Now following all the rumors and leaks, which have been taking place regarding the devices that are going to get announced at the MWC 2014 event, Taiwanese tech firm Acer has now released a latest teaser of its upcoming device via its Google+ account.
The smartphone which looks like a high-end device would be joining the popular Liquid series of smartphones, the company said. The teaser carries with it a very less information about the device as such. However, from the image of the partly visible device is pretty vivid, we can describe the device at least in terms of what it looks like.
The phone looks very much like the company's previous Liquid smartphones but this time around there is something right below the rear camera module. If there are rooms to guess, this could be some sort of a fingerprint sensor or an IR blaster for multimedia support. The camera will also come with a LED flash, which is clearly visible in the image.
Apart from these, you can also see two slots on the right side of the phone, which could mean a dual SIM support. Also a 3.5mm audio jack and a power button on the top is present.
Acer must have been working in a very covert manner, as no such pre-launch rumors and leaks have been heard and seen so far, except for this one which comes from the the company itself.
It should be noted that Acer will not only unveil high-end smartphone but also few mid-range devices at the MWC event. Also the company has a recorded habit of launching smartphones at the same annual event.
Since there are not much information about the specs of the devices, which the company is going to unveil at the MWC 2104, perhaps, because of this Acer could make the event more exciting and filled with surprises.
Until then stay tuned to GizBot!
