Acer Unveils Liquid X1, Liquid E600, Liquid E700 and Liquid Z200 Smartphones

Computex 2014 tech show is slated to get underway, Taiwan, starting next week, but major computing giant Acer has already unveiled its latest lineup of smartphones. The company on Friday announced new lineup of phones under its Liquid series - Liquid X1, Liquid E600 with 4G LTE, Liquid E700 with triple SIM support, and Liquid Z200.

Set to arrive in the second half of 2014, Acer will primarily focus on Europe and Asian markets. Acer hasn't announced the exact availability or pricing for any of the smartphones.

Acer Liquid X1- Highlighted Specs

Starting with Acer's Liquid X1 first, the high-end phone features a massive 5.7-inch IPS HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720-pixels resolution. The Liquid X1 is the first handset from Acer's stable to come with a Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor, clocked at 1.7GHz.

The phone offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be later expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. The Liquid X1 runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat also sport a 2,700mAh battery fitted inside. On the camera front, there's a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with ultra-fast focus, alongside a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter.

Acer's Liquid X1 also boasts of 4G LTE connectivity with speeds up to 150mbps. The monster phone would be made available in Q3 2014, the official Acer press release notes.

Acer Liquid E600 - Highlighted Specifications

Acer Liquid E600 features a 5-inch IPS FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of on-board memory, an 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and 4G LTE support. The phone has a massive 2,500 mAh battery, and runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat.

Acer Liquid E700 - Highlighted Specifications

Acer Liquid E700 packs a 5-inch IPS HD display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat out-of-the-box. The handset offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. The phone will also be released in Q3 and at least one variant of the phone will have triple-SIM card support. There's an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, alongside a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter.

Acer Liquid Z200 - Highlighted Specifications

The Acer Liquid Z200 is a basic phone meant for first time buyers. The handset features a 4-inch display ( 480 x 800), a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor, Dual-SIM, Android 4.4 Kitkat, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a 2-megapixel fixed focus camera, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and more.
