Alcatel's 12 Touch models phone coming soon
Alcatel has introduced many mobile phones in the past, in India, but they were not able to gain a good foot hold in the Indian mobile phone sector. Now, the company is all set to change that. Alcatel has revealed 12 new android handsets very recently during the Mobile World Congress which was held in Barcelona, Spain. The company officials have made it clear that these phones will be launched in India very shortly.
All the new phones belong to Alcatel One Touch line up. These mobile phones are manufactured by TCL Corporation for Alcatel-Lucent. In India Alcatel One Touch mobile phones are marketed by Ice Mobile network systems. This line up consists of the costliest phone that the company has launched till now.
The phone is termed as Ultra 995. The phone has some pretty amazing specs and features for its price tag is very suitable for the Indian economy. The device is equipped with a 4.3 inch display which has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The phone will sport a very powerful Qualcomm processor and it is clocked at 1.4 GHz. This will ensure the smooth working of programs and other applications.
The inbuilt shooter has a resolution of 5 mega pixels. It can record videos with 720p resolution. There is 1 GB of internal storage memory. For further storage a micro SD card slot is provided which can be used to extend the memory to up to 32 GB. The phone works in android 2.3 gingerbread operating system. This phone comes with a price tag of about Rs 15,000/-.
The next phone in the line up is Alcatel One Touch 903. This phone also runs in android version 2.3 Gingerbread operating system but the features are a bit inferior compared to the Ultra 995. But this, of course results in a lower and more affordable price tag. The phone has a screen size of 2.8 inches. The processor in the device is clocked at 650 MHz. Alcatel One Touch 903 price tag is expected to be around Rs 7,500/-.
The other mobile phone in the series also features some pretty good spec lists and offers the users with very good value for their money. The company officials also gave the word out that they are working on a 7 inch tablet. The tablet will have aluminium body and will run on Google android version 4.0 ice cream sandwich operating system.
