After years of leaks, rumors and speculations, Amazon has finally announced and unveiled its brand new Fire 3D Phone. And guess what! True to its name, the smartphone actually offers a kind of 3D experience which is next to none.

The Handset has been launched by the company for a price starting at $119, which translates to approximately Rs 11,500. And whatever we have seen for the device via its official releases, needless to say, it left us wanting for more.

The Amazon Fire Phone is a smartphone second, and the epitome of technological advancements first. The device may look to few as a bit gimmicky with all its features, but it looks quite beautiful, comfortable, durable. And with that 3D interface of its, the device is easily making headlines all around the world.

As far as specs are concerned, the Fire Phone boasts a 4.7-inch IPS 720p touchscreen with 590 nits of brightness, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with a 2.2 GHz quad-core CPU and Adreno 330 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. It also has support for 4G LTE.

Missing out on a few other specs details, are we? Well, it doesn't really matter since the device will not be known for its specs, but rather the built-in features that already has made the device a part of most wishlists.

But while we praise the Amazon device, is it bringing stuff to the table that no one else is able to offer? Maybe not 3D-capable, but there are devices with their own specialties that will still be a threat to the Fire Phone.
