Although there were hardly any evidence relating to the rumored smartphone from Amazon, it was pretty easy to believe that the smartphone would be launched by the company soon as it already has the tablet devices in the form of Kindle e-book reader range, which are doing really good in the market.

However the first images of the Amazon smartphone, courtesy BGR, has finally appeared online. These images show the device in its full glory and as you see the images, the premium looking smartphone features a 3D display. Amazon is also reportedly said to be working with developers to make applications that can fully take advantage of the 3D display and interface.

The device has been covered by some kind of protective shell to hide the actual design of the phone, but good thing is that the images do confirm that the device. Moreover, the images also confirm the previously rumored details of the alleged phone like the presence of multiple cameras on the front of the phone to help with output of the 3D display.

Last time the rumors suggested that the handset would come with a 4.7-inch 720p HD display and was said to be powered by Qualcomm's yet to be disclosed Snapdragon processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. There would be a note-worthy 13MP rear camera as well in the device.

According to BGR report, Amazon is also working on a budget smartphone, which will be released soon after the 3D smartphone. Unfortunately, there is no solid information pertaining to the availability and pricing of the premium smartphone. However, according to the WSJ report, it should be unveiled in June and released within September. Pricing of the device still remains undisclosed.
