Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Update: Micromax Canvas HD Gets the Update

    Micromax has a been successful with their Canvas 2 and Canvas HD devices without any doubt. One reason behind its success is that these devices offer premium specifications that comes mostly in high end devices.

    When the Micromax Canvas HD was launched, it ran on Android Jelly Bean 4.1 OS, but people at XDA thought about giving an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS to Micromax Canvas HD. And now we see MMXNewscaster's recent twitter post saying that Micromax has already started rolling out the Jelly Bean 4.2 update for its flagship Canvas HD A116. 
    This surely is an awesome news for those who owns Canvas HD A116.

    Micromax has been doing well in India as compared to it's competitors and now with this updates for the Micromax Canvas HD, the sales are likely to hit the upper margins.

    Few days back, techjunction's report said that the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS update would also allow users to see Samsung applications, and Samsung Galaxy S4 like looks in Micromax Canvas HD A116 device. 

    Mmxnewscaster reported that the update would also include OTA (Over The Air) software update functionality with Micromax's own System Software. The new camera update has also brought back the missing Panorama functionality. GPS fix issue has also been resolved and it locks the position quite faster now.

    Moreover the update will be available at Micromax's superfone service centres across major cities starting this week.
