Android 5.0 Lollipop: LG G3 Update Starts Rolling Out in India [REPORT]
Android 5.0 update continues to spread like wildfire as the South Korean tech giant has now reportedly seeded the Lollipop update to the G3 flagship in India. Now, DigiPassion, a tech blog is reporting that the Indian version of the high-end phone has started receiving the update to Android Lollipop.
The update came as a bit of a surprise as LG did not announce the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Indian version of the G3. The unconfirmed report suggested that users did not receive the Lollipop update via over the air (OTA) but, instead the device received the update through the LG Mobile support tool for Windows PCs.

Reportedly, the update weighs at 1.1GB for the Indian variant. As many as 13 apps get updated, and new features include improved notifications, new lock screen notifications, new animations, and a new task manager with multiple tabs is ready for use in the new Android Lollipop update for the LG G3.
It's still not clear when LG will be releasing the update via Over the Air (OTA), but it's clear that the update will be here soon. Initially, LG started seeding the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the G3 in Korea earlier this month, followed by a number of European countries, including Poland, Austria, the Baltics, Belgium, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain and the UK.
