Android 5.0 Lollipop: Motorola Moto G and G2 Getting Updated in India
Illinois head-quatered mobile manufacturer Motorola, has started rolling-out the next Android Lollipop update 5.0 for Moto G (2013 and 2014) users in India. Now the update is getting released in a phased manner and will reach all the users in upcoming days. This update comes nearly one month after Moto X (2nd gen) got its Lollipop.
This Android Lollipop 5.0 updates will be available Over-the-Air (OTA) you will automatically get a notification on your phone about the update. Moreover, manually, users can check by going to Settings > About Phone > Software update.
This update comes with a new material design which offers a bold, colorful and responsive UI design, refreshing notification system. It allows the users to see the notification on the lock screen and heads up notification are displayed like banners on the top of the screen. Moreover, there is do-not-disturb feature also added in the notification bar.

This update also contains battery optimization, which includes battery saver mode, job scheduling and a new developer tool called Battery Historian which tracks the battery consumption by the apps.
Moto G (2013) - Key Specifications
The Motorola Moto G Dual SIM sports a 5-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection offering a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU. It also uses a 1GB of RAM for multi-tasking purpose and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat).
Even the imaging aspect of the handset has been upgraded with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 720p HD video recording at 30fps and a 2MP front-facing snapper. Connectivity option includes: 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Dual SIM.
The handset also houses 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded via microSD card. The Moto G (2014) is fueled by a 2070 mAh battery inside.

Moto G2 sports a 5-inch 720x1280 display powered by 1.2GHz processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 alongside 1GB RAM. It features 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera along with 16GB internal storage. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and powered by a 2070mAh battery.Connectivity options include, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Dual SIM.
