Android 5.1 spotted on Moto G 2nd Gen [Report]

Recently, some rumor has been surfaced that the Andoird Lollipop 5.1 has been rolled out to some Android One market like Indonesia. Previously, Google has revealed that it is working on the Lollipo 5.1 update, but didn't, said anything about the releasing date.

Another rumor suggests that, the 2nd gen Motorola Moto G has been spotted with running Android 5.1 and according to a report from Techdroider, "the build seems to be of 2nd Feb and may be Motorola is still testing it."

Although it is not a confirmed news, we advice you to take it with a pinch of salt. Last month, Google released Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update last month with some bug fixes which was left out in Lollipop 5.0. Basically Android Lollipop 5.0 is a upgraded version of KitKat 4.4.

This updates comes with new material design which offers a bold, colorful and responsive UI design, refreshing notification system. It allows the users to see the notification in the lock screen and heads up notification are displayed like banners on the top of the screen.

Moreover, there is do-not-disturb feature also added in the notification bar. This update also contains battery optimization, which includes battery saver mode, job scheduling and a new developer tool called Battery Historian which tracks the battery consumption by the apps.
