    Good news for HTC One S users in UK, the company has started pushing out Jelly Bean update for the smartphone. The handsets purchased via 3 UK automatically check for the update and users will be notified about the same. However the the update also can also be manually kick started going to Settings, About, Software updates.

    The new update started rolling out to international devices last December. However The update was not pushed to all. News of HTC One S receiving the Android 4.1 update came from the official Three UK Twitter account and therefore we can say the source is legit. There are sources saying Android update is a 600 MB file and are recommending using W-iFi to carry out the upgrade.

    What does the new update bring for the owners? Well, the update will include Google Now, expandable and improved notifications, enhanced HTC One S devices Jelly Bean experience and HTC Sense 4+ performance with upgraded UI accompanied by better camera performance, new landing page and event/map view in gallery, power management improvements. Apart from these, the update will also bring bug fixes and other minor improvements.

    Meanwhile, the HTC One S Android Jelly Bean update has not been rolled out in India so far and there is no word on it might be available. Gizbot will keep you informed as soon as an update is received.
