Android Lollipop 5.0 Update Timeline for HTC Devices Revealed
HTC is all set to support its big user base in terms of the latest software available for handsets. And likewise, the company is now aiming to offer that support to many more of its devices, as latest reports have revealed.

But while the support has been announced, which are the handsets that are in line to receive the new updated Android platform? Well, according to whatever mentioned via a LlabTooFeR report, HTC One (M7) and One M8 aren't the only names.

While the HTC One (M7) and (M8) remain the first in line for the update, Google Play edition versions of the handsets will receive an update in late November-December. Also as expected, the Sense based versions will see an update in January-February.
Apart from that, other devices like the HTC Desire EYE, HTC One Dual Sim, HTC One E8, HTC Butterfly 2 and many more smartphones will receive the Android 5.0 update between January and March.

Also, the One Mini 2 and Desire 816 handsets should receive the Lollipop sometime in March or April. The One Max, One Mini, and Butterfly S, on the other hand, are slated for the update sometime between March and May.
Moreover, the report claims that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update will also bring the Eye Experience features on some of HTC's older devices. While the report also claims that the list isn't a final one, it does mention that other Media Tek processor powered devices are still under evaluation to get the update.
