AOC M601: Mid-Segment Smartphone with 6-inch Display Now Available for Rs 8,390

Taiwan-based television maker Admiral Overseas corporation (AOC) has announced the availability of its first ever smartphone after a month. Dubbed as AOC M601 it is now exclusively available on Amazon at Rs. 8,390 in Red and Black variant.

AOC sports a 6-inch qHD IPS capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It is clocked by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor alongside of 512MB of RAM.

Further, M601 comes with 8GB of internal memory with an expansion slot upto 32GB via microSD card. It is crafted with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP(VGA) front camera. The phone has the latest Android 4.4(KitKat)on-board.

On connectivity front, it supports 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS / A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio. It is fueled by 2100mAh battery.

Priced at Rs. 8,390, it comes with Adaptxt Keyboard which supports regional languages and also provides free F-Secure antivirus and anti-theft software worth Rs.1000 for a period of one year. Music downloads and streaming is also available using Hungama for only Rs. 1000, thus making it an amazing phone for the Indian market.
