Apple to Announce iPhone 5S Later This Year; iPhone Lite and iPad 5 in September

Apple continues to hold its numero uno position in the smartphone space. The recent surge recorded in the iPhones sales is a clear indicator that Apple will likely to stay ahead in the competition despite Samsung infiltration.

Reportedly, Tim Cook is laser focused and working hard on some amazing products that will be introduce in the fall and across 2014. We are already heard about iPhone 5S to be announced later this year, while the iPhone Lite and iPad 5 could be announced in September. Now rumors are saying that Low-cost iPhone and iPad 5 should be announced early September.

According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the makers behind iPod should be ready to unveil iPhone Lite and iPad 5. The analyst believes that Apple will likely to price iPhone Lite in the range of $450( Rs. 26, 664) and $550( Rs.32,590). He [Ming-Chi Kuo] also expressed his views about iPad 5. The report says Apple is finally ready with iPad 5 and one could see the coming of the device in September alongside iPhone Lite. Interestingly, Apple will release only one model of iPad this year. This statement is contrary to latest reports. LG has been roped to make Retina Display iPad Mini and there are chances to see the device launched later this year. Moreover, Kuo believes Apple to announce iPad Mini Retina Display in March or April, 2014.

"Judging by the production status of low-cost iPad mini model, we estimate shipments can only launch in December at the earliest. For the sake of gross profit, the model may not be much cheaper than current iPad mini, which means less appeal to consumers. As such, we think Apple is unlikely to launch the product this year".

Acclaimed analyst also have a scoop in regards to iPhone 5S. Apple is finding difficulties to produce enough iPhone 5S. The phone will be launched later in the year.

"We believe iPhone 5S will experience production difficulties among numerous components as well as assembly, as seen with iPhone 5 last year. The model will thus be available only in limited amounts following launch. We expect undersupply to improve in October or November."
