It is officially confirmed that iPhone 5 will reach the retail shelves of the Indian smartphone arena today and Apple has planned a public launch event on the same. When it comes to Nexus 4 – Google latest Nexus offering, the handset running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS is a modified version of the Korean manufacturer's flagship smartphone – Optimus G, which is yet to be released into the market.

Nexus 4 has several advanced features as compared to the iPhone 5 including NFC and wireless charing. Though there is no official word on the specific release date and pricing of the Nexus 4, the handset is reported to reach the Indian market by the end of November and analysts assume that it will be priced around Rs 20,000 approximately.
