According to the report, Apple is also giving Rs. 3,000 discount on the purchase of the 8GB iPhone 5c as an inaugural offer, which means the phone will be available at Rs. 34,500 for a limited time. Additionally, you will also be getting a free Apple iPhone 5c case worth Rs. 2,300 with the handset.

However, on the other hand, third party only retailer Infibeam is offering the 16GB iPhone 5c at Rs. 34,400. Thus, the 8GB variant of the iPhone 5c is very unlikely to make any difference in the sales as far as Indian sub-continent is concerned. Apple could possibly launch a buyback offers with the 8GB variant soon, bringing back price closer to the Rs. 30,000 range. Let us tell you that the official price of the iPhone 5c 16GB model was initially Rs. 41,900.

If you are not aware of the specs of the handset, Apple has used a polycarbonate plastic body to produce the iPhone 5C. The handset comes with a 4-inch Retina display. It is powered by A6 mobile chipset. There's an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a much improved HD ready camera on the front. The makers have added a large size battery fitted inside. The phone runs latest iOS 7 mobile OS.
