Apple iPhone 5S: Launch Date Optimistically Pegged for June 20 [REPORT]

Apple has learnt a lesson from its arch rival. The way Samsung surprised many by announcing its Galaxy S4 device in the New York; Apple could surprise fans too. Well, reportedly, the Cupertino -based tech giant will likely to announce the iPhone 5S on June 20, 2013.

Everytime Apple announces iPhone in the month of September along with iPods. But this time around Tim Cook couldn't resist growing popularity of the Samsung Galaxy S4. So, reports from MacFan say that Apple will announce iPhone 5S on June 20 followed by "Low-Cost" iPhone in August. The device will go on sale in July, as mentioned in the report.

The new report from Macotakara indicates that Apple desperateness to conquer last smartphone market with early launch of iPhone. Is Apple jealous with the growing popularity of Samsung? Generally, Apple organizes World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) in the month of June. This year the makers behind iPad will take place in the second week of June. Apple still hasn't communicated the exact scheduled date of WWDC. Like, MacMan many such reports even in the past highlighted June -July release date of iPhone 5S.

Recently, Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster told CNET that Apple is ready to announce the next -iteration to iPhone in the late June. Mr. Munster further said that iPhone 5S will sell 4 million units before the end of the month.

It is said that Apple iPhone 5S won't bring much to the table. It will retail same 4-inch Retina Display. The much hyped bigger display iPhone is slated to be launched next year. The device will have Quad Core processor, 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE, 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal memory, and lastly wireless charging capability. The most anticipated feature of the iPhone 5 will be much improved iOS. It is expected that iOS 7 is the reason why Apple is so desperate to announce new iPhone 5 on June 20.
