Yesterday, the tech communities in India were intensely speaking about the pricing details of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus which are scheduled to officially launch on the 17th day of October. However, the pre-orders are starting from today itself.
Apple has not only taken the most unconventional stem with the new iPhones this year but has also changed the sales pattern here in India, at least.
Usually, the Cupertino giant only allows the devices to be sold by few of its distribution partners including Ingram Micro, Redington, Rashi Peripherals and Reliance. But, it appears that this time the company will offer pre-orders also via third-party online retailers like Flipkart, Amazon and also Infibeam, which has already started taking pre-orders.
Infibeam promises to deliver the iPhones on the launch date, October 17th in selected cities. This also means that this time you don't have to wait in line on the launch day to buy the new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.
Today both Amazon and Flipkart have confirmed that the the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus would be available for pre-order starting 12 noon, today.
