Apple is reportedly preparing to announce a 4-inch iPhone with female users as the targeted audience. Supply chain sources suggest that there'll be a new, smaller-screened iPhone in the making to replace the iPhone 5C during 2015.
The iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c were the last 4-inch handsets produced by Apple in 2013. This year, Apple unveiled the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, with bigger screen sizes.
If Apple does come with a 4-inch iPhone, it would be rather interesting to see if the Cupertino-based giant goes with the successor to the iPhone 5C or chose to make a high-end mini iPhone 6s.
At the same time, it's hard to digest the fact that Apple would once again release a 4-inch iPhone in the market. Let's get the facts right. The iPhone 5c was poorly received by the mainstream media and the newly launched iPhone 6 has proved a big puller among users. In that case, there are very thin chances to see the arrival of a 4-inch iPhone next year.
In the meanwhile, Apple is rumored to be working on the successor to the iPhone 6. To be called as the iPhone 6s, the premium phone is set to make its debut in the first half of 2015. Reports claim that the iPhone 6s could be launched alongside the Apple Watch. The company is also said to be working on incremental replacement to the iPad Air 2.
