Asus Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 6 Now Available At Rs 5,999, Rs 16,999

Just yesterday, one of the smartphones from the recently launched Zenfone series from Asus became available in India. The 8GB variant of the Zenfone 5, which we are talking about went out of stock just few hours from the time it became available. Now only the 16GB version of the handset is available.

However, the two devices the Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 6 have also become available in India via the same online retailer Flipkart. It should be noted that Flipkart is selling the devices exclusively. The Zenfone 4 8GB model is priced at Rs. 5,999 and the Zenfone 6 with 16GB internal memory is priced at Rs. 16,999.

Asus Zenfone 5: Key Specifications

The Zenfone 5 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) capacitive multi touch display with Corning gorilla glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor coupled with a 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Zen UI, upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. Other specs include: Dual SIM with dual standby (micro SIMs), 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front-facing camera, 8GB / 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 64GB via micro SD, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 2110 mAh battery.

The Zenfone 4 features a 4-inches, WVGA 800x480, TFT with Capacitive Multi touch panel. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor coupled with a 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Zen UI, upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. This is the largest one in the series and comes with a 6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) capacitive multi touch display. It is powered by a 2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor with PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 GPU coupled with 2GB RAM and a Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Zen UI, upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. Other specs include: Dual SIM with dual standby (micro SIMs), 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera, 9.9 mm thick and weighs 196g, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 64GB via micro SD, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 3300 mAh battery.
