Asus has been known for its power-packed PCs and tablets. But now the company is giving extra focus on smart phones. Asus recently launched three new smart phones in India: the ZenFone 6, ZenFone 5 and the ZenFone 4.
So far the reaction from common masses has been phenomenal. There have been reports in the past that Asus managed to sell as many as 40,000 units of Zenfone 4, 5 and 6 smartphones in the first four days of sales.
Now after a long gap, the Asus ZenFone 5 is available on Flipkart. Priced at Rs. 10,000, the phone is expected to do really well, given its affordable retail price.

The Asus Zenfone 5 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) capacitive multi touch display with Corning gorilla glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor coupled with a 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Zen UI, upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. Other specs of the device include: Dual SIM with dual standby (micro SIMs), 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front-facing camera, 8GB / 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 64GB via micro SD, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 2110 mAh battery.
