Samsung has been proliferating its range of tablets and smartphones voraciously, year-over-year. The company had a pretty healthy tenure last year, however, the last quarter of 2013 turned out to be quite unfortunate for Samsung, as it recorded a 11% fall in Q4 net profit. This was a surprising development as it was the first time the profit margin fell, in two years. However, the maker of the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone is all geared-up to replenish the losses in Q1 2014.

India's favorite smartphone maker Samsung has also been rumored to come up with a number of tablet devices this year, leaving apart the flagship smartphone Galaxy S5, which is said to launch this year.

The company has already launched its latest Galaxy Grand 2 smartphone in the Indian market, while other Galaxy smartphones still continues generating profits for the company in India.
