BlackBerry 10.1 Update to be Rolled Out Along With BlackBerry Q10 Launch
BlackBerry launched their new operating system BlackBerry 10 back in January. They released their flagship smartphone, BlackBerry Z10 based on the new operating system was released in India on February 26, for at Rs 43,490. Well there is good news for all Z10 and BlackBerry Q10 users, as the company has started rolling out BlackBerry OS 10.1 update. The update to start rolling in UK along with the launch of BlackBerry Q10.
The update is said to differ with Z10 and Q10, as the the latter one features a physical keyboard. The BlackBerry OS 10.1 update will introduce features such as Mnemonic Phone Dialing, BlackBerry Mobile Voice System Support, Keyboard Shortcuts, BlackBerry Balance, Word Prediction, Type N Go, Corporate Liable Feature, Cross Domain Email Warnings, Dark Theme Support, Out-of-Box-Experience, Smartcard Support. bbin have posted the details about what exactly these features can do.
Meanwhile the BlackBerry Q10 is expected to be made available in India for Rs. 48,400 approximately, by the end of the month. Q10 sports a 3.1 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, dual core 1.5GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 64GB additional storage, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and a removable 1,800 mAh battery.
